Review, New Recordings, New Merch

April 15th, 2008

Here’s a quote from a review on Indie Update.  Click the quote for full text.

"The Energy Trio doesn’t create one unique sound, they manage to cross every genre and invent several of their own along the way. The very first thing you’ll probably think when you hear them is ‘My God, they can actually play’ and you’d be right."

Also, you may have noticed some new tracks posted up above.. Adam Clark was on the gig and kindly recorded these on his Minidisc at Park Wines on March 8. 2008.  Thanks, Adam!

We now have new merchandise available on Cafepress, including hats, mugs, and shirts.  Visit our online store to satisfy your hunger for NRG3 gear!  As always, thanks for the support, and we look forward to seeing you at some upcoming shows!  Keep checking this site, as we have some videos in the works as well…

About the Energy Trio

February 15th, 2008

here’s some promo from our press package:

The Energy Trio combines jazz roots with decades of experience to produce a sound that rips through any age barrier.  This fusion group explores many different genres and in an organ trio format, displays armpit-funky original material as well as interpretations of music by groups such as the Beatles and Nirvana.  In addition to their contemporary side, this trio performs burning bebop tunes, ballads, blues, latin, jazz, and fusion.

Shea writes: It’s good to be back up on the web!  Check back soon for some new recorded tracks and video.  In the mean time, feel free to say hi in the comments section!
